VOLUNTEER INFO FOR THE 2009 MAPLE RIDGE JAZZ & BLUES FESTIVALBE ONE OF OUR VALUED VOLUNTEERS
If you would like to help the MRJB Festival put on another great show we would love to hear from you! Your time will be rewarding in so many ways; such as meeting great people, helping the community, assisting the artists & we will have some special treats for you too!
Areas where you can help are not limited to what's listed below. Select areas of interest. If you have a special interest, or you would like to volunteer in one of the following areas, Please email your request to us. Our coordinator will contact you. Please note: Cutoff date for Volunteer sign up is 10 days prior to the start of the festival.
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED IN THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES:
General: |
general assistance in many festival areas is needed |

Arts & Crafts: |
to assist coordinator in setting up, organizing, tearing down, general aid to crafters |

Food Vendors: |
to assist coordinator in setting up, tearing down, general aid to vendors |
|
Set-up: |
to assist with general site set up |
|
Wrap-up: |
to assist with general site wrap-up |
|
Membership: |
volunteers needed to sell memberships on location, provide info, etc |
|
Gate Attendants: |
attend gates on location |
|
Decorating/Signs: |
to assist with site decorations and signs |
|
CD Sales: |
to assist at CD sales table |
|
Stage Hands: |
to assist coordinator, load in bands, be a roadie |
|
Security: |
crowd, parking, stage, etc. |
|
Runners: |
to the store, to the other side of the field...could be anywhere! |
|
Hospitality: |
information and greeting at the festival 'Info Tent' |
Ticket Sales: |
sell wristbands at entry gates |
Balloons: |
filling and tying balloons |
