The endless list of music festivals includes the prestigious TD Toronto Jazz festival, the largest Jazz festival worldwide. The Montreal International Jazz festival and other Canadian events don’t fall short, though. Such is the level of celebrations for Jazz and Blues in this part of the world, showcasing some of the best blues artists in the world.

TD Toronto Jazz Festival
This is easily one of the few premier music festivals of the American continent. Endorsed by the Toronto City council, it supports local artists. It also bags big names of the industry, from all around the world.
TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival
It is British Columbia’s largest event for Jazz. It is presented by the fusion of Blues Society and Coastal Jazz. Along with Jazz the festival offers various sorts of activities, like free singing lessons.

Halifax Jazz Festival
Halifax Jazz holds dubious record for being the oldest jazz festival as well as largest summer festival in Atlantic region. The festival gets 70000 visitors every year. Jazz, Blues and Latin music are the highlight of this music festival.
Vancouver Island Blues Bash
Vancouver Jazz Society was responsible for the event’s inception in 1981. It features local, regional and international Blues. Classic songs as well as the best recent blues songs. Both free and paid admissions events forms this music bash.
Montreal Jazz Fest
The Montreal Jazz Fest brags a 38 edition old history. Services in the event are top class. The event takes places annually, mostly in June-July time of the year. For its services and boutiques, festival goers fancy visiting this event. The first edition was inaugurated by Roy Charles in 1980.
Burnaby Blues Festival

Donnacona Blues Festival
The Donnacona Blues is exclusive to Donnacona, Quebec, Canada. From Homeboys to Drew Nelson and Angel Forest, the blues event has bagged some of the big names. The event attracts sponsors as many as guests themselves.
Beaches International Jazz Festival
This Jazz-fest bring some of the biggest concerts and artists. 29th edition of this international music festival happens on July 2017. The event goes for 10 days with its venue in one of the lakeside beaches of Toronto.
Lighthouse Blues Festival
This is another annual blues event with some serious line up. It has celebrated its 7th edition earlier this year. The July 2016 event has eye catching performance stages. The event rocked throughout its 3 fun filled days.
Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival
This gem of an event happens in Downtown Fredericton, NB. From Jazz to Blues to World Music, the festival has got it all. From its inception in 1991, this has been the biggest musical festival in the city.
